Spring is right around the corner and we are getting ready for some fun and colorful activities! Here are some cute caterpillar themed activities that are perfect for the season, and can also be incorporated in a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme.

Color matching and sorting, with toys and objects from around your house, is a fun activity for toddlers to learn color recognition. This caterpillar color activity is a perfect preschool activity for Spring, or to go along with the Eric Carle classic "The Very Hungry Caterpillar".

Practice sight words with these printable Spring themed coloring pages, featuring a caterpillar, umbrellas and a flower garden. Great for preschool and kindergarten! Includes blank sheets that can be customized.

Very Hungry Caterpillar Dot Marker Pack

This Very Hungry Caterpillar pack is a great way to practice math, literacy and fine motor skills. Includes counting, number recognition, patterns, letter sounds, caterpillar life cycle and more!

Fingerprint Counting for Spring

This is an older activity that we created for another website (Fun Handprint Art) and it has become very popular. Make caterpillars, flower petals and spots on ladybugs with your fingerprint, while counting and practicing one-to-one correspondence.
